What we believe
WHAT WE BELIEVE
At Calvary Charismatic Centre, we base all of our beliefs on the authority of Scripture. In every way, we strive to maintain Biblical standards of living and leadership. We believe that living life according to God’s Word is the way to an abundant, fulfilling life.
THE BIBLE
We believe the entire Bible is inspired by God and without error. The Bible is the authority on which we base our faith, conduct, and doctrine. See 2 Timothy 3:16.
the triune god
We believe the entire Bible is inspired by God and without error. The Bible is the authority on which we base our faith, conduct, and doctrine. See Matthew 28:18-20.
salvation
We believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and shed His blood. We believe that salvation can only be found by trusting in Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection. We believe that Jesus rose from the dead and will return. See also Romans 5:1 and 5:8-9.
water baptism
We believe that water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and a testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. See Matthew 28:19-20.
COMMUNIOn
We believe in the regularly receiving Communion as an act of remembering the sacrifice that Jesus made for us through dying on the cross. See 1 Corinthians 11:24-25.
RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD
We believe that by obeying God’s Word, yielding to the Holy Spirit, and being conformed to the image of Christ, every believer can have a growing relationship with Jesus.
